How to change Vodafone CallYa to English

After just arriving in Berlin, Germany, I got prepaid lines (without contract) for myself and my wife directly from Vodafone. We got our SIMs registered and I paid €19,99 for a CallYa Allnet Flat L (7 GB data, flat SMS to EU, and I'm not yet sure what the call rate is. I really needed to have data to use maps to get around within my first few days in town).
Changing Call Language Option
I kept attempting to call abroad, but all I heard was German. I would eventually disconnect the call, or it would end by itself. I "googled" how to change this option. Every option I found online was outdated and did not work. But I kept trying and the following combination worked!.
- Dial 22044
- Wait a few seconds, press 5
- Wait a few seconds, press 4 (you should hear the voice prompt ask you to press 1 to change your language option to English).
- Wait a few seconds, press 1
That's it.
